We welcome
you to our new "refreshed" website. Although on the surface
the site looks very much the same, behind the scenes it
is very different. The site now sits on a completely different
platform, has different logic and is maintained using
different software.

The move to
this new platform and software was necessary as a result
of Microsoft's unfortunate decision to withdraw the facilities
that we previously used. It is our Webmaster's personal view
that a large company such as Microsoft should know much
better.

Moving to the new
platform has been a complex and time-consuming task. We
would like to sincerely thank those who undertook this
task on a voluntary basis and the members of their families
who suffered as a result. You know who you are.

will notice that the address of the
site has changed from www.clanmacthomas.co.uk
to www.clanmacthomas.uk - although the site can still be
accessed via www.clanmacthomas.com or
www.clanmacthomas.org. Please ensure that you amend any
bookmarks that you have set up for specific pages.

In the coming
months a project will start to completely rebuild the
site to modern standards. Once that is complete it is planned
to keep this site as an archive.
