It should be appreciated that as time moves on after a video is made, the way to search for a particular record may change. In the past paper documents were searched, then microfilms and microfiche. All are still used although more and more these records are being digitised. Even after digitisation the way digitised records are searched changes as techniques improve. These days experts still recommend researching certain books; in the future a set of books may be digitised with a search function. Later on set of records may be incorporated into a larger group of records with one search function. And so on.
