cannot attend the meeting in person. Full members of the Society are encouraged to use their votes.

Grahame
Thom's four-year term on the Society Council ends this year
and he has indicated that is happy to serve a further term.
However, under the rules of the Society, we must give other
full members the opportunity to stand against the incumbant.

the Clan MacThomas Society will be held in London on
Sunday 2nd October 2016. All relevant information can
now be found in the Members Secure area of this website
along with an electronic proxy voting
facility for members who are unable to attend the
meeting - small changes may be made after
the window for nominations closes on 21st
August.

Society Treasurer's four-year term on the Society
Council ends this year. The incumbant, Jon Hedges, has
indicated that is prepared to serve one further term.
However, having served more than eight years, under the
rules of the Society he must give way if another member
wishes to stand for election to this post. Would any
full member interested in taking on this role please
contact Council as soon as possible using the following
link.
For practical reasons it is best that any applicant is
based in the UK.

Clan Badge is missing from the Harold McCombie gate
and has been replaced by a notice about the Diamond
Jubilee Gathering.

assured that nothing is amiss. The Badge has been
removed so that it can be repainted. It will be refitted
prior to the Gathering in August.
