The Clan Society sends greetings to Martina Thom who
celebrates her 80th birthday on 17th August 2016 with family
and friends near her home in Warwickshire in
England.

Martina (Tina)
[née Edwards] was born in Coventry in the West Midlands
and spent her early years as an evacuee with family in
Worcestershire. She later returned to Coventry where she met
her husband, Brian. They celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary on the 30th June earlier this year -

Martina and Brian
have spent many holidays in Scotland and have travelled all
over the world including New Zealand, Thailand, Tunisia,
Norway, USA, Germany, Egypt and also visiting relatives in
Canada. Martina continues to swim two or three times
a week and is actively engaged in fundraising and charity
work. She maintains her interests in local history,
handicrafts, including lacemaking, and her three
granddaughters - Becky, Beth and Isabelle!
******* Martina joined the Clan
MacThomas Society in 1993 and many will know Tina and Brian
from the many gatherings and events that they have
attended over the years.
