* The 10th Chief was born Angus McComie and later took the name Thomas. Angus was

the youngest son of the 7th Chief. Tradition has assumed a Donald McComie was the

youngest son, however documents held by the National Archives of Scotland provide reasonable proof that he is not a son of the 7th Chief - please see article "The impact of

the Internet - Changes to the Chief's Tree"  by Fran Thom and Grahame Thom which was

published in the Clach A’Cholich, Volume 6, Number 6, 2011.
