This census, which was taken on 19 June 1921, will reveal information about 38 million people, including answers to some new questions. It is the first census to record “divorced” as a marital status and will also reveal, where applicable, the name and address of where people worked. After 1921, the next census to be released will be for the 1951 Census in 2051. This is because the 1931 census was destroyed during World War II and no census was taken in 1941 due to the war.
