Chief's 40th Anniversary
Dinner - Saturday 29th May
2010
Finegand
Abden House
Edinburgh
Forty years ago, in May 1970, while still in his 20’s, Andrew
MacThomas became Chief of Clan MacThomas following the death
of his father. Since that time Finegand has spent much of his
spare time developing and promoting the Clan around the world.
Without his dedication the Clan would not be where it is
today.
To celebrate
the occasion, the Society is to hold a private anniversary
dinner in Finegand’s honour over the British Bank Holiday
weekend on the evening of Saturday 29th May 2010 in Abden
House, Edinburgh. Abden House is a beautiful baronial mansion
with magnificent views over Arthur’s Seat. Dinner will consist
of five courses and will include tastes of Scotland. We
believe this is a wonderful way to celebrate Finegand’s 40
years as Head of our Clan Family.
All society members, their families and guests
are welcome to attend but the dinner is limited to only 32
people, so attendance will be based on a first come first
served basis. The cost of the meal will be £45 including wine.
A cash bar will be available for members wishing to buy any
pre and post dinner
drinks.
We regret
that this event is now fully booked.
