We have regularly reported that the Scottish Wildcat (Felis
sylvestris sylvestris) is at risk, partly as a result
interbreeding with domestic cats. Hardly a week seems to pass
without the efforts to conserve the pure wildcat being
reported in the press or on news websites.
The campaigners seem to be doing a good job at promoting
the cause.
