Alternative Event Options for the
Gathering
We recently sent an e-mail to Gatherers offering
alternatives to some events that featured on our original
programme. These are possible because the excellent response
to our Gathering plans means that we will have the use of two
coaches.
The alternatives include:
Thursday 24th August
10:00 Pool party, use of
hotel sauna and spa, shopping in Pitlochry
13:00 Lunch at
Scotland's Hotel or in Pitlochry (Cost not included in
package)
14:30 Coach No: 2
leaves for Edinburgh.
Friday 25th August
10:00 Coach
No 2 leaves the Hotel. There is then a choice of
activities:
a) Bungie Jumping at Killicrankie [
Link].
This would incur an additional
charge of £ 68:00 (Minimum age 14)
b) Visit Killicrankie Soldier's Leap/Visitor Centre

(Free) c)
Pitlochry Dam/Visitor Centre [Link]
(Free)
The coach would then take gatherers to the Glenshee Ski
Centre
for lunch.
Saturday 26th
August
12:30 Take a later
coach to the Strathardle Games
and/or
15:30 Take an early
coach back to the Hotel in Pitlochry
These alternatives will only be offered if there is
sufficient interest.
