MacThomas at the 2015 Stone Mountain

In his annual message in the printed magazine our
Chief, MacThomaidh Mhor, mentioned
that the North American (NA) branch would be represented
at the Stone Mountain Highland Games & Scottish Festival
in Atlanta, Georgia on 17th and 18th October 2015. The Branch
Convenor, Wendy Thomson, also made reference to this in her
report. Stone Mountain is one of the largest Scottish Games in
the US.

It had been expected that we would be
sharing a tent with another Chattan member, Clan Mackintosh.
In the event the organisers gave us our own tent
where the Convenor and NA Branch Treasurer, Cathy
Ludemann, welcomed visitors. One new full member and
several followers joined the Society.

We expect to be back at Stone Mountain next year and it
is hoped the either our President or one of the
Vice-Presidents will be present. Why not put the dates of 14th
- 16th October 2016 in your diary now?
