Thank you for continuing to show an interest in
the Clan MacThomas website. Your Webmaster team does try to
keep your interest by ensuring that relevant new content is
regularly added to the site and always welcomes your comments
and suggestions.

We
would now like to bring your attention to two items that may
be of interest:

1. The Society Annual General meeting will
take place during the Diamond Jubilee Gathering in Scotland in
August. The Agenda for the meeting, the Report of Society
Council and the Society Accounts for 2013 can be viewed in the
Member's Secure section of the website. A proxy voting
facility will be added soon after nominations for the vacancy
on Council have closed.

2. Members who are
attending the Diamond Jubilee Gathering may be interested to
know that most of the Gathering Information pages are now live
on the website. Please click here to visit the menu. The aim of these pages in to
provide everything that you need to know in order to make your
stay in Pitlochry and the surrounding area go smoothly. The
travel information is particularly useful. If there is
anything that you think is missing then please contact the
Webmaster.

Our e-mail of 12th July referred to the Society
Annual General Meeting at Scotland's Hotel in Pitlochry on
Sunday 24th August 2014.

We are now pleased to advise that all relevant
documents for this meeting have now been published in the
Member's Secure Area of the Clan Website. These include
information about a member standing for election to Council.
An Electronic Proxy Voting facility is also available.

We would encourage all current Full Members who
are unable to attend the meeting in person to support their
Society by using their proxies. The deadline for doing this
on-line is Friday 15th August 2014 – the Society Treasurer
will be travelling North almost a week before the meeting and
is not sure that he will have the technology to process
proxies whilst in Scotland.
