village where you can make contact with your Clan and seek out
your Scottish Ancestry, Scottish Stalls, Food Stalls, Tartan Stalls, Scottish Music, CD/s
merchandise, loads of entertainmentand games for the children.
Should you be one of the 1,501,200 million
Australians who registered Scottish Ancestry in the last
Census, then let us meet you. Join the Clans, the Scottish Societies, the Highland and Royal Scottish
County Dancers, on the March from Martin Place down to Hyde
Park for the Official Opening event for St
Andrew’s Day: The Scottish Gathering. Celebrate all the
Scottish culture we love to enjoy.
We will be
joined again by the NSW Regiment.
So
whether you come from Dundee, Aberdeen, Biggar, Skye, Glasgow,
Edinburgh or any place between, put on you tartan, come
join in with us and march
along with the massed Pipe bands. Just let us know your
Scottish roots and we will provide a location
banner for the group. You
can choose to march under a Clan banner or under your home
city’s banner.
